Woven from the wool of my Navajo Churro herd. This piece is hand dyed with usnea ( a type of lichen gathered from wind fallen branches) and Goldenrod, turned green with an iron water bath.

The wool from this weaving was shorn, cleaned, carded, spun and dyed with extreme care by my hand. It is a reflection of a season of my life as a shepherdess.

The wooden frame is made from reclaimed deck wood and constructed with dovetail joints for some added beauty.
